YES! you have it exactly! He does not belong to me in the world's eyes but he's my heart's true husband and always will be. We have a bond that no certificate or lack of can sever...he has my heart and I have his and within that place where there is only we two, we are sacramentally bonded. We know it, what does it matter what anyone else knows? He is my true north, the direction in which my heart always turns to go home....what else can I say? I still believe that we are fated to be together and some day, some way, we will be.
