Subject: '90 420SEL Ignition key

Howdy,

My '90 420SEL ignition key finally worn out after years of service. They key tend to get stuck in the ignition switch and it was harder and harder to pull out. In early trouble shooting, I removed the Ignition switch and later found out that I didn't need to, just to have a new key "tumbler" replace.

Well, the Houston dealer wants $150 for the key tumber and it comes with one key. Ouch, right.

Does anybody know of a good Mercedes locksmith and/or can duplicate Mercedes key without going back to the Dealer? It would be helpful to know, next time. Thanks.

ps. I've learned to use a special tool to pull out the tumbler so post the question if you want to know.
