The Emerald Valley
This is a deep rift in the mountainside of the Apps. In winter, the snow piles high and the small stream at the center bottom of the valley will freeze completely, but now everything is blooming. The Apps is having a fair spring, fading into a promising summer. Snow has melted, flooding the small creek to near twice it's size, but in a few weeks it will be normal again. Green things blossom and grow from every possible crevice and patch of soil, giving this place it's summer name: Emerald Valley.
