Subject: Taurean and Cambryn (Taean and Cam?)

(occ- Hmmm... as for shortening names... Cam works for Cambryn, I suppose, but I'm thinking maybe Taean (Tay-an) for Taurean...?)

"Don't you even think of running..." Cambryn warned as the first dragonet, a yellow Clamon, made its appearance.

Taurean let out an aggrivated sigh. All he wanted to do was edge off the Sands without being noticed. He caught a glance of someone in the passageway, with an excellent view of the Hatching. Acamar. Now he couldn't run, at least without looking like a coward. He glared at S'vron, whose fault it was that he was out here, burning his feet off, but soon found out that he couldn't help but become caught up in the Hatching.

His attention was caught by a green Clamon who wobbled over towards them. "Shards, Cambryn, he's looking right at you!" And sure enough, Grethmir claimed the older boy as his.

Now there was nobody stopping Taurean from leaving, but he found that he actually wanted to stay. Maybe he did have a chance after all...

Of course you do, Taurean! An orange dragonet swaggered towards him, and when he recieved no sign of a response from Taurean, spoke up, Um... hello? I know I'm good looking, but can you please stop gaping long enough to feed me? Akiru joked.

"Oh, yeah. This way," the ex-Candidate steered Akiru off of the Sands.

That's more like it, Akiru strutted alongside him, showing the crowd just who was the handsomest dragonet of them all.
