I to have 100 plus pound to loose, but decided I would head for the 50lb loss first, not such a daunting task. I started 2 weeks ago tommorrow, and have lost 4lbs. I started following the Carb. Addicts plan by the Hellers, but have moved in to a more carb restricted place. I may move back to having my " reward meal" but for now, I am not missing the carbs too badly. I am probably getting more hidden carbs than I think, maybe I should keep a food diary for a while. Good Luck!

  • When I started, I needed to lose 117 pounds. I only have 82 left to go. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! All that having that much to lose means, is that it'll take you a little longer, and you'll have more time to get good at it before maintenance! (NT) -- Katie, 15:47:07 08/06/02 Tue
  • When I first started I had 150 pounds to lose. I've still got 95 to go. The way I'm going I may never get there, but I am building muscle and losing fat, so I may have to modify my weight expectations (muscle weighs more than fat). I guess a dress size is a better goal for me. (NT) -- Sherry, 09:11:46 08/07/02 Wed
