Ok well I guess that explains it then -- I don't have a defined waist at all so the whole thing is about the same til you get to my hips or up top.

Well maybe if you are thin enough the difference isn't that great, but when I first measured my waist was about 4 and a half inches smaller than my ab measurement. Now it is only 3 and 1/8 inches smaller than the area around the belly button. Both areas are shrinking, but the fatter area is shrinking faster. (
