Subject: He bounds into the Ravine!!

"Tawny! Tawny!" He hardly met the girl, but he had to tell someone before he bursts. "She came back! She came back!!" He races around, kicking his heels and bucking and cheering. After letting loose for a few minutes, he races to a holly tree and looks around, then finds a large holly branch. "Perfect," he murmurs. "It's the type of tree that the twig in her hair came from," he says to Tawny, knowing that she probably doesn't know what that means. Akki had been wearing a holly twig in her hair the first day he met her, and that stuck in his head for the longest time. Sitting down in the shade, he takes out his knife and begins the hardest thing he's ever had to do.

A few hours later, he's made the wooden part of a harp. Reaching inside a pack at his side, he pulls out odds and ends, finally finding some string that, when plucked, makes the most heavenly sound you can hope for. Weaving it into the wood of the harp, he races to the centaur center, hardly containing his exuberance.
