You know that is just what my wife said Alcoholics are notorious for their liver problems, Does this amaze anyone?
I find it on Medline Plus Drug information site It is worth reading as they continue to say that physicians are reluctant to prescribe naltrexone because of the warning of liver failure. It is also reversable I found in other articles somewhere. But that is liver failure that was caused by really large doses somewhere in the 300 mg. dose range As if we need to hear that when no needs to take any more than 4.5 mgs.
This was good info to know cause when I went to my Dr. he also hit me with the" don't want to prescribe cause of liver failure tactic".When I showed him where that was found he realised that I had done my home work and was going into this trial with both eyes open.Needless to say he prescribed for me.
Oh also when I go onto Google to look up naltrexone the first site that is brought up is the lowdosenaltrexone home page. That's cool.. R.H.K.
