*He was much better now, having had a while to recover. In fact, one of Creean's fellow herders had deemed him sound to ride again, and she wondered where he was. He seemed like a nice person.

She hitched Dream to the fence, where she had set up the battered tack she used on him, though before she threw a blanket over his back, she brushed him off to ensure he would get no saddle sores from caked mud, and that nothing was wedged in his hooves (???). Then, the rest was easier than usual, as if Dream actually wanted to go for a ride.

Reverie perched between the tabon's ears with a chirp. Why fly along after you when I can get a free ride?

At that, the girl laughed aloud.
