Thanks again for sending it my way. Hotmail was freaking out, wasn't it? As for FL here's my SPECULATION. I think FL was approached to come back, wants to but it's been held up pending Roger's decision to stay past May. But Dim, Roger was going to stay to Septemember. Just my GUT and I could be wrong but I think a suit (poss Fee) pulled the pull on SHORT TERM stays after the DEBACTLE with Sarah Brown & Steve Burton (thank JFP for this!!) So how it's stay until May or until his next out which I understand is Jan 2002? Anyway I think RH has UP TO 2 weeks to make a FIRM decision (dim's drop dead date: 15 APR) Then GT will know wheater or not to write RH out as of May or to keep around. If Rh is staying around, I think FL will come back shortly thereafter. (I do think RH lobbied for FL to come back however he was THROWN A LOOP when they pulled their "verbal" agreement for a SEP out clause) Meanwhile I don't think FL is sitting around being idle. I think she's looking for other work (and I do think there is some validity to the FL going to GH rumors) Maybe it's her way of "upping the anty" for GT, who knows but I think I alot depends on Roger's decision. I think that any return of FL to One Life to Live is dependent upon what RH decides to do...I also heard rumors regarding an extension to September and it has occured to me that perhaps he was using that as a cushion in case of a strike...but when the Steve Burton fiasco came about, it would seem to me that any suit worth their brass would realize that 3 month in and outs (especially verbal exentions) are detrimental to the health of the show itself...and much as RH/Todd fans like to believe that this show never existed before or during RH absences, LOL, it did... I do think that FL will be back one way or the other...and I'm pretty sure that her people are talking to ABC...regardless of what FL/Tea/TNT naysayers might think or believe, FL was very well liked and respected by top ABC brass, and if she's now more amenable to coming back to work in daytime, I feel pretty sure that a spot will be found for her somewhere... I do think that we would have to be hearing something about RH's contract situation pretty soon...the way I see it...if he is leaving at the end of May, and they are taping one month ahead, then that gives the writers only 3 weeks now until they start taping his last 4 weeks... Now I guess that it would probably be to GT's advantage and ABC's advantage to delay that announcment as long as possible, however, LOL, at some point it is going to have to come out...although I do seem to remember that ABC didn't officially announce him leaving that last time until he had already finished taping?...LOLOL...aw well...that's suits for you... What I think may happen is that FL will be back to have Tea and Todd leave the show together...from what I'm seeing on screen these days, they seem to be moving Blair back into Max's orbit...to possibly set up a later Max/Blair/Gabby triangle, although I think that I've heard that Gabby will initially be chasing after Asa...LOL...go, Gabby!...LOL. Also, these spoilers tend to make me think that Blair's plan to 'seduce' Max into testfying for her will backfire when she gets herself pregnant with his baby in the process...LOL...since I do think RH is leaving and let's face it the dP's are 'lifers', I think putting permanent tie between Max and Blair would probably not be a bad thing...sets up future conflicts to be sure...also from JdP's/Tomlin's comments in the latest SOD it seems apparent to me that JdP's Max is going to become the new 'leading male' on this show...and that his latest round of sleeziness will be swept under the rug while making him sympathetic as Blair's victim...the scenes between Max and Renee were telling in that its clear the Max still has feelings for Blair, and I suspect she is feeling the same...or at least it will play out that way as time goes on... Yes, I think Tomlin is a "James DePaiva" fan and he's going to build up a story and family for his character. Will there be a Gabby/Max/Blair triangle? Will Blair be pregnant? Will it be Max or Todd? I think what Tomlin is BUILDING now is a situtation that can TURN in anyone of these directions QUICKLY DEPENDING on Howarth's decision to stay or go in May. Howarth Stays: The baby is Todds. Will Blair be in love with Max or Todd. Will Todd know it's his or will he think it's Max's? UNKNOWN: FL's return. IF FL returns in May, the story could move into another direction ENTIRELY different direction. Howarth Goes: The baby is Max's. FL comes back and TnT go to California on a "Great Escape." LOL!! Like you DeeDee I think if Howarth decides to leave, FL will come back for him. If Howarth decides to stay, FL's return will be tricker. Why? Because it means FL's stay has more a "permancy" to it. Ties will need to be re-established...a background built... and if I was FL I would want REASSURANCES that the character would NOT be so abissymally treated this time around like it was in the summer of 1999. Me? I want FL back as "Téa" and not something temporary to escort Howarth off the show (greedy thing aren't I?) oh, if Howarth elects to leave I definately see TPTB holding off on an announcement that he's leaving. "Todd" is an ICON to OLTL just like "Luke" is to GH and "Erika" is to AMC. His leaving will hurt - and Tomlin will take the blame and the suits will want to MIMIZIE that as much as they can.
