There wasn't a lot that phased the girl, that was for sure. So packing all her belongings in the back of her beatup half ton and moving 1200 miles from home barely made her blink an eye, accordingly. Those were the prices one sometimes had to pay to protect oneself. And now here she was...

The heels of her well worn dock shoes scuffed along the loose gravel path as she made her way toward the cafe, her first stop. She wasn't phased but she needed caffeine in a hurry. She'd rolled her faded jeans up to mid calf in honor of the glorious day outside - the sun her companion for most of the driving she'd done this morning. She'd shed her button up sweater in honor of her charcoal fitted teeshirt and the jeans, her long blonde hair falling halfway down her back as she tossed it over her shoulder and pulled the door of the cafe open. The chilled licking fingers of some of the first days of the season's worth of air conditioning greeted her like an old friend and she smiled as she made her way to the counter, ordering the largest, blackest coffee that was available, before turning her back to the counter and leaning against it a moment, taking in the people in the cafe - these were her new 'neighbors'... of course dependant on where she found a place to live.. if she found a place to live... nonetheless, she greeted it as adventure and was eager to begin this new chapter of her life.
