The Sheltering Overhang You step under a large rock overhang, glancing up at the ruddy color. It's sturdy, and shelter in the winter. In the back is a place for a fire, should someone choose to build one. The wind cannot reach the back spaces, and this ridge stretches a long ways, so that all can fit here without crowding. It is a good place to sleep in winter. It's also a good place to wait out the heat in summer, for the rock and shades always stay cool.
