Date Posted: 09:52:07 12/08/03 Mon For those who are still high on Westinghouse and Von steuben, let me be the first to present this year's Public League dark horse: Hyde Park. The Indians have already knocked four current/former members of the Red-West: Faragut, Crane and Westinghouse at the Blue Cross tourney, and Curie in the home opener on Thursday. Man to watch: Stephon Hannah (Sr. 6-1 G). Arguably the best defender on the South Side, if not the city. Has averaged just over five steals a game in the first 4 contests. Can play either the 1 or 2 and is a great passer, above or under the rim. Big test against city finalist Julian at H-P Arena on Tuesday (4pm; 63rd & Stony Island).
