But it just goes to show you how the parity in the Public League has been helpful to up and coming programs like V-S and possibly Hyde Park this year. If you look at the recently released sectional pairings in Class AA boys hoops, it looks like the CPL may get about three teams Downstate later in March. There is also the possibility that none could make it down this year, but you take the bitter with the sweet in eliminating the automatic bid from the CPL, and I think it has made the league a lot better for it.
