It seems that you guys think you are better and above anyone associated with the CPL. The bottom line is Von Steuben did defeat you guys in what was probably the most important game in both schools' basketball history. Von Steuben and many other city teams have enjoyed great success against Catholic League teams and will continue to do so. As far as making excuses, the media is reporting the facts and Brother Rice fans' excuse when they lose is that the other team was supposed to win because they had more talent. Von Steuben was supposed to win because they had more talent, is what you said after last year's loss at the UC. Well, if the coach is to blame for the losses then the coach should get some credit for the wins, and Von Steuben's coach got them downstate last year, and Brother Rice's coach hasnt accomplished that feat as of yet. Well, it might be as well that Brother Rice wasnt put into Von Steuben's Super Sectional again this year, because Von would "Torch" Brother Rice again and send them home packing!
