Tony Vallara plays on a JCA team whose record doesn't even come close to reflecting his play. As a 6'2" Jr. He averaged a double double in the very tough ESCC (Other teams in the ESCC: St. Joe's, Notre Dame, St.Pats, Marist, all quality programs)Because of the teams small size, Vallara is forced to play the power forward postion, but he's more of a swingman or a shooting guard. With work on his dribbling and outside shooting, I'd say Vallara is a qualified DI prospect. If the JCA team has a better year next year, and they should, with a good group of sophmores coming up and an increased role for the 6'0" speed burner, Tony Zanella, Vallara, in my mind, has a great chance of getting recruited.
