I'm alot smaller than that gigantic thing you always harness. And-ow! Hey not that small! Perbeath corrects Jara as the girl harnesses the green rapidly. Okay, now I do this, and you do this and then...oh, hello!

Giggling, Jara urges her dragon to walk around. "A little shorter, but how do you like me on your back, Bea? Okay?"

Just fine. Perbeath answers, strutting around proudly with an arched neck and eyes glowing with pride in herself and her rider.


H'rrison, meanwhile, is having a bit of trouble reaching so high on Fordth's neck. "Bend down," he instructs the bronze before putting the practice harness in place as he watches Kuvoth and D'tir. It figured, he thinks ruefully, the smallest boy had to get one big behemoth of a bronze. But a nudge from Fordth confirms that this sentiment is purely affectionate.

That feels right. You next. Fordth encourages, helping H'rrison up. Now, the boy had sat on Nagoth or Dekanth sometimes, but not often. Only once had he felt the height he now feels with his dragon, and that was when Talla had let him sit on Mylanith. Or rather, Mylanith had really okayed everything. But now, it was HIS dragon, HIS lifemate whose thoughts he shared and whose back he was on.

Never was a boy prouder on his dragon as they ambled about, waiting as if in a dream for further instructions.
