It's times like this for which I long,
The skies are clear and the rain gone.
My mind as empty as my soul seems,
Nothing to fuel my hope but dreams.

At times I am lost,
But that time is not now.
Right here I belong,
I know not how.

My climb was not up a ladder,
More like the trellis that I see,
Helping the rose to her glory,
But still content just to be.

But still at times I wonder,
Where can the top be?
And now I know there is no top,
And the only one to stop myself
Is me.
