Subject: He raised a brow a bit at that, his head remaining cocked, tucking his fingers in the kangaroo pocket on the dark hoodie that he wore, for the sake of saving arthritic fingers. "Grumpy? A girl like you has no reason to be grumpy." At least, he hadn't ever seen her grumpy before, in their somewhat limited contact, and he couldn't really imagine her truly grumpy, and besides, he didn't like the idea of her being grumpy - it made him want to do something to turn the outcome of her mood around and cheer her up. "You don't look grumpy. You're not shooting lightning bolts from your fists yet, so I think I'm safe from any attacks, right?"

  • "You're safe." She assured him with a soft laugh, but then turned more serious again - brows gently furrowed. "I lost my flight home. They overbooked and I got screwed. So now I'm stuck here on my own for the break..." At the reminder of her ruined holidays, the slight frown lingered and she attempted to shrug it off, but it was obvious that she was truly quite upset about it - she just had trouble staying too upset about any one thing for too long at a time.
