Subject: "Everyone's gone home..." She sighed deeply, hating the harsh reality of how her Christmas was going to play out. "They've all been there for weeks... But I didn't finish with exams till last Thursday, and then when I got to the airport on Saturday, the place was full even though I was supposed to have a seat." She had never ever missed a Christmas with her family before - she had ever been anywhere but on the Island and she wasn't keen on the idea of starting any new traditions now.

"Well, there's no way you're going to be unhappy this Christmas. We'll do the whole Christmas thing together, seeing as I am on my own this year as well." He'd certainly taken a shining to this girl - he didn't know, there was something about how carefree and happy she always was - based on his childhood and the expectations he had for life, it was a refreshing breath of cool air.
