Subject: "Of course. Do you have a tree already? If not, we can go pick one out." She pointed out with a small grin, head tipped back a little as she gazed up at him. Her fingers slipping into the pockets of her pants, she took a small step back and then gestured with her head for him to walk with her - there was so much to do over the next couple days. They didn't have time to just stand around, but her walk was a slow stroll - it was chilly out there, but a clear, beautiful night and she had trouble hurrying to go anywhere or do anything. Besides, it was so late that nothing would be open then anyway - so it wasn't like they could do any preparing until morning.

  • He shook his head a little - frankly, he didn't see much sense in putting up a tree if you weren't going to have anyone over, and if you intended to be alone - if you wanted a tree, or a fireplace for that matter, most television stations showed, like, twelve hours of caroles and Christmas trees, or fireplaces or something of the like on Christmas day, and that would have suited him just fine. "We have a lot of work to do - you sure you're up to it?" He grinned, prodding her in the side playfully - his more extroverted demeanor always exposed itself in her presence.
