It wasn;t that she wasnt pleased for her friends- she just felt very out of the loop and left behind... it was strange- considering that at seventeen she was all for settling down for the happy ever after with Gabe... but he'd wanted his kids and he;d wanted them way too soon for her- she was only just trned 22 now and he was already about adopting a second one... it would all have gone wrong if she'd stayed...and at least it was all amiable.
