She grabbed him tightly, his body a dead weight for her as she tried to pull him back up to the surface. Thankfully she had been trained as well as he had in being a lifeguard and could use his own weight to her advantage but it still wasn't easy with the freezing water. She made it to the shore where Jason took Luke and dragged him over to the fire, quickly getting his friend out of his clothes and into the dry jeans, covering him with blankets and rubbing his limbs firmly.
