Subject: "Stop calling me that." She growled quietly, and kicked him gently beneath the table - maturity was so overrated - before laughing softly. "Is 'all of the above' an option?" She teased back at him, one eyelid dropping in a wink and then raised her glass to her lips for a sip before speaking again - her gaze almost affectionate on him and a small smile lingering. "You look alright yourself tonight, by the way." Of course he looked much better than alright - what girl wasn't a sucker for a guy dressed up? - but she doubted that he needed the boost to his self-confidence.

  • He could always use a boost in confidence when it came to her. He never knew what she thought about him. A smile played over his lips as he raised his glass before he took a long drink of his champagne. "This wine cost more then your old apartment I bet, we can't let it go to waste." He stated, winking teasingly. She had mentioned her old apartment hadn't been huge, it had just been somewhere to stay. He really did listen whenever she talked, no matter if she thought he was or not. (NT) -- Cash, Wed, Nov 02 2005, 10:52pm PST
