Piranhas are schooling fish you can add more but also provided the aquarium must be big. The more piranhas the bigger the aquarium. I have a red bellied piranha, only 1. It's hard to get/find piranhas at my country. I mixed it when oscars,a pacu, heart shaped parrots, catfish, tin foil and a dragon fin. And it's getting along well with all of them. They are always well fed so they do now bite or eat each other off. It's a community tank. The combinations are funny and it works well. They key is space, and all must be well fed. There should be no problems.
