Dennis, you're too good a writer and thinker to stoop to such a spurious response. And if you really think that 75 cents is a reasonable price for such a flimsy, editorially disemboweled paper, you are seriously out of touch with mainstream America's economic circumstances. The new gimmick is a desperation measure. The "premium" stuff is obviously just filler, fluff, and gasbaggery--not serious journalism. It's sad to see that a decent paper (never one of America's greatest but at least a solid second-rate paper) is taking the frivolous route, but the P-G has become an embarrassment.
