I guess I missed it too. I was just reading the paper like the guy above. All that stuff may be on the site, but did it add one iota to the story? How many people accessed or used it? Did WVU officials say, 'uh-oh, there's another video and interactive graphic on the Post-Gazette Web site'? Or did they drive madly through town trying to gather up all the copies of the paper? I'm no luddite, but i agree that all the tech toys are pretty marginal when you have a real news story on your hands. And they add cost but no profit. Call back when there's tech the public cares about and adds to the paper's bottom line instead of being a drain on editorial resources.
