So you mean you consider New York Times journalists to have real credentials? Which ones?

As for Heyl, given the sloppy, smug, McNickle-esque blather he grinds out to amuse the big boss (and only to amuse the big boss), some might feel he falls under the "failed local journalist" category. A majority of his Trib colleagues certainly do or they wouldn't be employed there.

Real columnists, whatever paper they work for, do research. So where does that leave Heyl? I think we know the answer.
