No, that particular wording isn't considered King's English, but that doesn't make it "ebonics," either.
(Speaking of word choices -- what kind of person uses the word "ebonics"??? Likely someone who gets confused when a black person doesn't fit one of his three preconceived personality types for black people.)
Ironically, such a highly race-conscious post reflects far more poorly on your character than that of the columnist. Have you considered getting out of the house more often?
