OK, for someone who doesn't enjoy the convenience of seeing life strictly in black and white terms, please help me out:
How about the phrase "It's all good"? Is that considered "ebonics"? Or is it more generally just part of the vernacular of people under, say, age 40?
Is it possible for a black columnist to use the expression "playa hatin' " with a playful sense irony? Or is a black columnist, regardless of his ability, interests and experiences, not afforded that freedom?
Personally, I think the wording is played out (is the expression "played out" considered "ebonics"?). But it's really not that big a deal, and only someone who's harboring some real resentment would take time out of his or her day to make such a mean-spirited post.

>Actually, it's the textbook definition of Ebonics.
