Well in the first place, this is a Pittsburgh media site and as you noted, this even occurred in DC.

Since you are interested in journalism, let me ask how you can substantiate your statement the US media ignored it. I saw plenty of coverage in print, on the web and on broadcast and cable news. Or did you not bother to look?

ABC, in fact, put the number of protesters at 60-70,000. The other side is naturally going to overstate.
