Yes, Huffington Post is a hysterical lefty operation that often slants its headlines in ways that are at total odds with the stories beneath them.

Unfortunately, Francis, your ignorance and agenda seems to be paramount here. Clearly, you don't know the meaning of the term "de facto" (unofficial), no surprise since your own ideology and agenda are pretty clear by now. And why is it you cannot discuss the local tea party coverage? Is it because you don't know much about our local print media, perhaps? This is what you should be commenting on:

Fact: Fox's hosts, O'Reilly, Hannity and Beck among others the others have been pushing this movement on their respective programs. They are far from the only ones. And don't give me this crap about "where did you get your proof?" You know damned well they've been doing it. Watch any of them. So has the ultra-paranoid Michelle Malkin. And yes, Olbermann's been blasting away from the lib side.

I saw a distant shot of the rally on CNN Saturday. There were undeniably tens of thousands there. But the crowd did not fill the entire mall. It filled more than half, but not down to and around the Washington Monument. You of course won't believe that since it doesn't suit your viewpoint.

Check this nonpartisan site. Note it won a Pulitzer, which is probably enough to make it suspect to you.

Face it, Francis. Whether you're one of Dick Scaife's one-dimensional posse of rightie ideologues (which wouldn't surprise me a bit) or whomever, you aren't here to comment on local print media's coverage of the issue around the region. You moseyed in to stir a p***ing contest about the liberal media and tea parties. Nothing anyone says will satisfy you because this is part of the far right's agenda. And the far left is no better. Huffington Post distorts the truth. So did ACORN, and so do the Tea Party folks. The extremes are never far apart.

Your type of logic not only drives the Obama birthers, but flat earthers, the Bigfoot believers and folks who think the moon landing was faked. Oh, and don't forget the Triltateral Commission, the Black Helicopter folks and the ones who insist they have it on good information that Elvis manages a donut place in Idaho.
