I agree. I've bought a few cd's from a show and one sounds like pure crap and the other, the x-rated only 3 songs play, the rest are so low or you can't hear them at all. Very bad cd burning, very bad bootlegs. This is a very bad reflection on David, not as an artist but because he lets them get away with this shit! If he doesn't watch it these fuckers are gonna cause him a hell of a lot of financial troubles. Bootlegging copyrighted cd's for one, and ripping off the public for another. I love Dac and will still go to his shows, but I won't buy another cd from the stand again, EVER! Buy it from the stores people, save yourself the headache.

I just think it's a shame that people have to stoop to such levels to rip off the fans of David Allan Coe. I am a dear fan and my Father before me. I think if anyone gets a cd from the official site they should have it examined by an expert to see if it really is David Allan Coe's signature. If not, then sue the pants off them. Maybe, just maybe that will wake them up and let them know we aren't all sheep in a herd. If we hit them in the pocketbook it may open thier eyes.

Believe me, if Coe signed a load of cds there was something in it for him. The fact that you may have been a fan for years or lined his pocket by purchasing every cd or lp he ever released doesn't mean a damn to him. I personally have seen him snub hardcore fans as if they were dirt when there were as few as two individuals wanting a signature outside his bus. Give it a try yourself and see what I mean. If you are "privileged" enough to have him sign one item, he won't speak to you or much less look you in the eye. It's all about $ plain and simple. If a fan's $20 ticket purchase was contingent upon Coe showing he/she some respect it may be very different.
