Subject: Dying to find out what I'm having

Goodness... I'm almost at my 25th week and I can hardly stand this anymore! I want to know what I am having and my husband and I keep getting itno fights over it because he calls me obsessed, paranoid and spoiled... because I want to take a 4 hour drive to Maryland to have early baby pictures taken by 4D sonogram for $120... but honestly... he kept me from buying a doppler... I compromised by buying a fetoscope, the dopplers are like $400, the fetoscope was $20... and my first 2 sonograms were done by an evil witch who wouldn't let me look and gave me a few bad pictures of this brat that kicks me day in and day out... this is like PMS 10fold... anyways... my due date is all messed up... my EDD by period is 2/21 but the first sonogram placed that a week earlier at 2/14 and the second sonogram also indicated 1-2 weeks ahead of time in size... so I'm wondering when this brat is going to emerge... the ultrasound tech said "I think I see a penis"... I'd hope by now she's seen enough to know what they look like!!! but she urged me not to buy EVERYTHING in blue just yet because she has been wrong in the past... I just wanna know... it sounds horrible but I dislike little girls... I'm sure I'd love one (in about 5 years) but right now I want a boy sooooo bad... if a female is going to ruin my shape I prefer her to wait at least 5 more years... I've seen it so many times in my friends where they have boys and bounce right back and then the ones that have girls have a souvenir 25 pounds per child... I'm too young to be frumpy... anyways... if I haven't driven you all nuts and anyone wants to talk, I'll post here more often... I need other people to talk to that understand what it's like to retain 5 pounds of water in each breast and 10 pounds in each foot... but on a happy note after the hubby and I got into a big argument while I was driving him to work today he asked if he could go into the room for the 4D sonogram... apparently he was balking because he thought we were spending $200 for me to be in a room while he spent an hour being bored in a waiting area with other left out daddies... so, we kissed and made up... ok i'm going now because otherwise I'll be late to pick him up and we have a prenatal appointment tomorrow so I can get my blood paperwork to apply for WIC (in case I can't breastfeed) and to make sure my glucose tolerance test went well.
