Are any of my teammates reading this message? I am looking for video footage of the Canarsie High School girls gymnastics team during 1968 and 1972. I remember another parent taped me on the uneven parrallel bars. Some of ny teammates'names were, Marlene, Marilyn, Olga and Miss Kessler was the coach. At this stage in my life, seeing this footage would be worth gold to me. I don't have anything from those special years and have been out of Canarsie for 27 years. I was in Leaders, too. My nic name was Rainy, but I would probably be most remembered as Lorraine Muzio. Please email me if you have any leads. Thanks

Dear Lorraine:

I don't know if you remember me. I was on the gymnastics team and in leaders club with you. I do remember you. I don't recall anyone ever taping us. I do remember Ms. Kessler, she was a good coach. I remember out teammates Marilyn Callister, Nancy Ruiz, Melinda Romano, Marlene Wilensky, and of course the leaders such as Jeanne Ognibenne, and others, who I am sure I will remember if I look at my yearbook. Unfortunately, it was caught in a flood in 1975 and has not been the same since.

Anyway, I know this is many years late, I hope this reaches you and that you are doing well. I live in Lynnwood, Washington, about 1/2 hour north of Seattle. I am happily married for 29 years so far, and have no children. Like everyone else, I am getting older and I am afraid no so gracefully. But, I try to be optimistic rather than pessamistic.
