Subject: Concern regarding joining

Greetings,

I have been looking for a guild to join for a long time. PoL is one of the *few* ones that really impresses me. I would have applied for membership already if not because of one set-back, my email address from my IPA. I live in OC, CA area, using COX as my IPA. As some of you (who live in this same area) may know, cox is going through a "high speed internet service conversion". In short, my existing IPA email address will no longer be effective at the end of this day and it may take weeks for me to get to it, mostly due to the fact that when I get a minute on the computer, I like to spend it playing D2x and not trying to reach my IPA's customer service.

My question is: Is is really necessary to provide my IPA's email address? If it's okay, I can use my work email for verifications. I work for a large respectible hospital, which strictly monitors all in-coming / out-going emails. But most importantly, we get ONLY one email per employee (as opposed to my IPA's *seven* distinct email user per customer). I think my work email would do a much better job for the purposes of verifying that I'm a legit player. For the purposes of receiving / sending clan related materials, I would still request that it be done on my hotmail account:

holmendis@hotmail.com

If accepted into the your clan, my account name would be *holmendis

Now a bit about myself. I highly value team play with honor, trust, and courtesey. It was how D2x was meant to be played with all the changes from D2c.

I have played many other on-line games (dating back the past decade). In every single one that I have participated, I usually contribute so much to the clan/guild that I belong to that I usually end up leading it or offered a position of high leadership. In D2x, I had up to 30 active close friends (that i met on USWest) who urged me to start a clan of our own, but hesitated because of philisophical reasons that will take too long to explain. I hope to bring the same contribution for your clan in the D2x community as I have in other on-line communities.

I am usually very active on private forums, such as a clan forum. On open forums, I tend to lurk more than I post because of the incredible number of trolls/idoit trolls out there.

-Regards,
-Holmendis
