Subject: CHECK OIL LIGHT

My check oil light is staying on, I have a 98 GSXR 750. My oil level is fine. Does anyone know how to fix it? Also I have noticed that the resivor on the left hand side of the bike is below the low level, what kind of fluid goes in there? This is my first street bike, I don't have an owners manual...Please help me. Thanks
