try checking your airbox valve, the vacuum hose that goes to the vacuum pot may have come off or the pot may be inoperative. to test the pot lift your tank and take your air filter out and then rev the motor over 5,400 rpms and the flap should automatically open then close at around 5,200 rpms when you let off of the throttle. if not this is your problem you are not getting enough air into the motor so you should check the flap linkage and the vacuum pot, hope this helps
