Subject: should i buy a gsxr 1000 2003

i have three years and around 12000 mi on 2 bikes. my last bike was a 2000 gsxr600 no crashes i don't ride on a track just steet. i am thinking 750 or 1000. is the 1000 to much for the street.i just want to have fun wheele with out trying to hard and stay in on piece.
