Subject: Alphabetizing a list

There is probably a very simply solution, but... I need to alphabetize a rather extensive list. Is there a simple way to do this - I use Word in XP Windows?

It since a long time I didn't use it, I tried to find it in my own laptop, what you need is a spreadsheet, it's an Excel programm. You can tape a list and can select it and choose in 2 icons ( don't know if I use the good word here sorry )the first one allow you to put in order the second in dissorder.
