I wouldn't worry about it. If they like your story enough to want to run it, they're not going to say, "Well, we would have run this one, but he didn't send a SASE...too bad." The worst thing that could happen is you might never hear back from them, and in that case they would have sent you a rejection anyway. I think.

What magazine was it?
