I haen't checked lately, but I heard the G&M went to US spelling, but then went back. It saves a considerable amount of money in ink to use US spelling, which is why some newspapers have switched. I'll have to check what Maclean's is doing.

I use Canadian spelling in all circumstances, but if I am sending a story to the US, I run it through a US spell checker. Even if I"m being careful, I knkow I'm gong to trip up on words like 'harbour.'
