Seriously, the fact that they sent the rejection airmail doesn't mean anything. On to the next market. In fact, my suggestioon would be send out a batch of queries and samples at once, otherwise you could be at this a long time. And if it makes you feel any better, I racked up more than 20 rejections before Love Minus Zero found a publisher.
