Why not, indeed. I entered that contest two years running. I may try again. Last year I found a worthy candidate in a novel I didn't finish reading. I think it was by that 'Holcroft Covenant' guy. It really stank. I'll try to dig it up.

How about, "With his lazy eye, bald head, and the trickle of drool that ran down from the corner of his mouth and dampened the four-in-hand knot on his worn maroon tie, Lyman didn't look like a top homicide detective, but then, he was actually a cost accountant for a badly run construction firm."
