I think I mentioned before that my home a/c is beyond repair, and I won't be able to afford to replace it until the fall. It was 33 degrees in the house last night. It is just about 30 out right now, and there is supposed to be some moderation in the temperatures next week. Of course, it ain't the heat - it's the humidity.

Last night I slept on the deck for a while, but I had to go back inside after a time, and it was like an oven in there. I think we may go camping for a couple of days next week, as I'm taking some vacation. It doesn't seem so bad if you're outside.

I hope things dry up for you soon. I've been through basement flooding, and it's a bitch.
