I almost always use first name last name with no title, and I often get that sort of salutation, too. You often don't know if it's Mr. or Ms. or Dr. or Mrs. and I really think the whole idea of those stupid little titles is pretty antiquated, anyway. Whose business is it if I'm married or not?

I do use "sincerely", though. Isn't it saying the same thing as "yours truly"?
