V3.02 seems to handle most of my quibbles, including the two duff units which caused crashes. I am on Move 22 of the original and enjoying it, despite the fact that it is too easy to beat the Soviet AI. It is now mid-September 1941 and I have taken Leningrad and Sevastopol and will probably take Moscow when I launch my final attack. After that it is hardly worth playing on so I will start again with the new version. I might add that the mark of how much I enjoy this - the closest computer game I have found to the excellent board game version of Fire In The East - is that I am prepared to put up with 15-20 minutes calculation-time between Turns!

We appreciate the comments and it brings up a point that we have forgot to specify.
The scenario was never intended to be played vs. the AI and we will be putting this in top of the briefing in our next update, to avoid people getting disappointed.
At the moment I think only some of the units have some very simple orders. Maybe we will put a more detailed plan for the units in the future, but without using any events on these, it should still be quite easy to beat the computer.

I'm working on a pretty detailed AAR of one of my games vs. a human (Doc). We are not that far yet, but it's turning out real interesting.
