Burst of creativity.

---------------

I can do this.

The though ran through her head repeatedly, as she stared straight ahead at the large double doors. Again, and again she had to stop herself from moving around uncomfortable on her seat. The elaborate ivory and jade gown not exactly her choice of clothing. Pale sunkissed tresses were curled and held in place by the silver circlet settled above her brow. The room was silent, it could be heard each breath a person drew. Everyone movement echoing in the high ceiling.

I don't want to be here.

She thought for the hunderedth time that day. Finally the doors began to draw open. In a second her eyes moved to the tall man sitting on an ornate chair above her. His pale blue eyes staring ahead. For a moment he looked at her, their eyes met and he grinned. But only for a second and his mask once more fell over his features. Her's to was put into place as a young man strode boldly down the carpet accompanied by an older pair. The ice cold mask, that had driven off many a suitor was covering her facade. It was her shield, her protection against the world, and she wore it beautifully.

-------------

Hm.. that's not the only one.

-------------

Cloud boiled over head, threating to send down the crystallian tears any moment. Wind harshly ripped at the many trees that grew around the small houses. Water in a nearby pond flew at the shores. Merclessly beating upon the earth with determenation. A dirt road wound it's way through the small village, but no one dared be out on this night. Not man nor beast with any sense would trek through the impending fury. Save for one. A petite woman, of blue eyes and pale blonde hair strode calmly through the forest. Tresses whipped angrily about by the hideous gales. Soon the droplets began to fall the rythm pounding harshly into the ground, and onto her body. Her face turned upward, staring at the ink stained heavens. Then forcing her light orbs down to focus on the path ahead. A pale scar, star shaped, on her forehead seemed to stand out against the swirling chaos. She came to a small house, a shack more like. And straining opened the door. She walked in, casting a ragged cloak upon a bed in the next room. Then turned looking upon her features in a mirror hung above a small dresser. For long minutes she stared at the unfamiliar features staring back at her. A lone tear streaking down her ivory cheeks. In a flash of lightning her fist slammed into the image. Knees buckled as she sank to the ground, sobs racking her body. Hands lifted covering her face, blood dripping to the floor.

-------------

Whoo for the boredness. I just had to get that out.

Damn. My creativity level = 0 but I am going to try.

The blood began to dry on the hardwood floor of the small home. Finally she began to rise, muscles screamed in protest stiff from kneeling. Pale fingers reached up to brush away the sun bleached hairs that fell into her azure orbs. Stumbling she took a step forward, hand reaching out to grasp the end of the dresser. The shattered glass lay about the bureau and the floor. She stepped carefully around the pieces towards the door, not bothering to grab the ragged cloak as she went. She went to the small room that served as a kitchen and den. A small fire was soon burning in the corner of the room, in the cast iron stove. Setting a kettle on to make tea she moved to sit in one of the three rickety chairs. Leaning back she closed her eyes, past images playing through her mind. Clouds sweeping past her, the glow of the warm sun beating down her face as she quickly flew. Hearing the whistle she leapt up pulling the pot off the burner and setting it on a small table. She poured it out, waiting only a few moments for it to cool before gulping it down. Grabbing a roll she headed out the door once more.

The storm had subsided but dark forms still hung low in the heavens. Threatening any moment to once more dump water down upon the figures below. A few had emerged, and moved about the village. Her path once more began to wind towards the woods. She stopped though hearing her human name called out.

"Mira! Wait! Where are you going?"

A dark haired set of twins were running towards her. The boy taller then his sister, and faster soon caught up. He grinned looking back for his sibling.

"Come on Jessie"

He called out teasingly to her. When she to caught up she pulled back punching him lightly in the arm a scowl marring her pretty features. The small blonde glared at them both, and they looked pleadingly at her.

"Please Mira, me and Alex won't bother you. Honest!"

The female pleaded looking with sad eyes at the pale-skinned belle. Finally with a nod she moved back in the direction of the woods, an exasperated sigh escaping her. She had to find the clearing, and besides if needed she could lose them in the forest. She set a quick walk that they easily kept pace with. Chattering along as they trailed after her.

I must be feeling reaaaal creative.

-----------
Of course it was cold. It was raining and it was the middle of the damn night what did you expect.

She mentally scolded herself as she slipped through the door. Bare feet coming in contact with the wooden planks of the deck out back. Wind whipped down goose bumps crawled up her arms. The thin shirt and pants did nothing to protect her small form from the cold. Moving softly she came out to the edge of the deck. Leaning against the railing that kept the many dogs from getting up on the porch. The moon's glow made the trees about hundred yards glimmer eerily. Something else seemed to gleam through the branches of the ancient oaks. She strained forward, dark green eyes peering closer out in the darkness. For a moment as the figure stepped forward she knew her eyes were deceiving her.

An ivory form, of an equine stepped daintily across the rain soaked grasses towards her. Muscles rippled 'neath the hide of the beast as it moved. Like liquid it flowed over the emerald blades. It was unreal, but nothing like the story book Unicorns. It didn't have an innocent gleam to playful eyes. No, those pools were deep murky and ice cold to look into. The spiral that reached three feet into the air gleamed wickedly into the night. The stag stood almost at 17, as tall as some thoroughbreds. But it's build was of muscle and bone. Not the sleek look of the racing breed, nor the heavy set of the draft. It was simple a large horse, sinews rippling at each movement. Something stepped out of a nightmare.

The girl moved back a step, ooids widened at the sight. No fucking way was this happening, was the thought running over and over in her head. But then she found she could no longer step back, and was moving forward. Her eyes locked with those of the now stilled animal. Her body slipped over the bars and she drew in front of him. Shivering at the look she found was across his facade.

A hideous grin had pulled itself into the eyes and across the jaws of the monster. He kneeled now as she clambered onto his broad back. She grabbed a handful of the moonlight tresses as he rose. Unaware of how she had gotten onto his back. The stallion turned, and broke into a gallop into the woods. A crackle of lightning came from the over-hanging clouds and he and she went back with it as it drew into the heavens.

---------

Anyone else tired of the 'innocent' Unicorn thing? Bah. No clue where that came from just started writing.

Whoosh. My creativity level is UP. Anyways.

Her eyes glistened with tears as the flames roared before her. She looked up into the velvety darkness and she saw nothing but an endless stream of stars. She lay back down into the grass next to a wooden box full of letters and photographs. She tossed each letter into the fire gingerly.. each letter brought another tear. She should have kept them as memoirs, yet each one brought more pain then she could imagine. So she had to get rid of them. He filled her thoughts once more, so she turned her attention to the fire. She threw a couple of tree branches into the fire, feeding the monster. Brilliant colors of orange and yellow sparked before her pools and she smiled at the thought of his letters being scorched. Her mind drifted back to him. How he hurt her. And how she longed to cause as much pain to him as she could. She imagined him suffering, writhing in pain, tears streaming down his face almost as she had cried every night for him, and a smile crept on her face. There would be no more tears. She dried her eyes and finished burning the memories. The fire was left burning slowly, it's ashes glowing hot red from the heat. It softly lit the path as she walked away.

Ugh what a crappy ending. Sorry guys, just popped into my head. Kind of some random literary vomit as Ms. Swagerty would call it. Haha. Creepy though huh?
