great site, jan, thanks so much for doing all this work.

i was sam the bartender in the mid-80's and my years at disneyland are some of the fondest memories i have in show biz.

the cast was great, the staff was great, the audiences were always superb, ready to laugh, and i always was thrilled to be a part of something (disneyland) that i had loved so much as a kid (my folks drove me and my brother out from denver colorado just to see disneyland when i was a child) and as a young adult (went to disneyland many times).

i will tattle on myself and tell you something i did which was 1000% against the rules...in between shows i often would change into my civvies to go on the rides...i remember one day riding space mountain 10 times! i loved it!

i will come back and add more memories as time permits. meanwhile please feel free to visit my professional show biz career web site at www.gilchristner.com. click on the "stage" balloon on the left to read about my days at disneyland!

also, i am very happy to once again be employed by the disney company this year, only on television! i have filmed a commercial for disney resorts, which, from what i hear, will be airing sometime in the fall. look for me as the guy on the golf course with the walkie talkie trying to fool my wife in to thinking i'm on the "tower of terror" at the orlando resorts!
