I experienced two very pleasant surprises today.

First, I received an e-mail note from Christopher DeSantis with three photos of Wally Boag on the Golden Horseshoe stage. I've wanted to add the Golden Horseshoe Revue since I launched Yesterland, but I've never had decent photos. Now I can finally look forward to adding the Golden Horseshoe Revue to Yesterland! (I just have to find the time.)

In his note, Christopher DeSantis wote that he had also sent the photos to you and to Wally Boag. I wasn't familiar with your site, so I looked for it on Google.

And that was my second pleasant surprise today. Your tribute to the Golden Horseshoe is great! I've only scratched the surface of your site so far. I promise to add a link to your site from my Disney Park Links page(which I plan to rework as a Disneyland history links page).

I enjoyed the Golden Horseshoe Revue many times. Usually Wally Boag played the salesman/Pecos Bill part, but I also recall seeing Bert Henry in the role. I traded email a few years ago with him.

I wish that Disneyland would bring back the original Golden Horseshoe Revue for Disneyland's 50th anniversary year, 2005.
